Emily Power received her undergraduate degree in Recreational Therapy at Illinois State University and her Master's Degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics from Northwestern University. While attending Northwestern, she was also head of the committee who put together "Adaptapalooza", which is now an annual event that community members, students and staff can participate in adaptive sports.

Emily’s residency was completed in the Chicagoland area, in which she focused on cranial remolding helmets, fracture orthoses and spinal orthoses in a trauma and rehabilitation environment. However, she enjoys being able to meet the needs of any patient that walks through the door. Emily’s favorite part of working in O&P is forming lifelong bonds with her patients and their family members.

In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling, listening to podcasts, cooking and hanging out with her English Bulldog, Penny.
